The First Moog Synthesizer
Interview with Herbert Deutsch from the Buffalo News
June 4, 1982
In June, 1982, an attempt was made to sell the original Moog Synthesizer prototype at Sotheby's in New York City. Because the Auction did not generate an assigned minimum bid, the instrument remained in the possession of Herbert Deutsch, who in 1982, donated the instrument to the Henry Ford Museum in Detroit, Michigan.

Following is an interview which appeared in the Buffalo News just prior to the auction.
