Comments:What a pleasant site. I'm glad it exists. I met Dr. Moog back around "75 and have been a big fan for quite some time. I have most of the documentation shown here and some marvelous photos of Keith Emerson with his modular at work. ELP's 1974 Brain Salad surgery tour was one of the most amazing shows i've ever seen ( and as a pro musician and long time concert goer.. I've seen alot!) Just last week I was trying to explain to my young neices that synths used to be that big and had no presets.I do

Comments:I am a big fan of Kraftwerk and Depeche Mode so I have developed a love of electronic music. I started a site dedicated to electronics and decided to see if there were any sites about Moog as I knew Moog played a part in the development of electronic music, until I saw this site I didn't know just how big the part they played was. This is a great site, well done.

Comments:The first synthesiser I encountered as a child in the early 70s was a mini-Moog in the childrens' book "Fantastic Machines". It said "Minimoog - instrument for electronic music". Enough to set a little boys' fantasy in motion, and keep it so. Now, thirty years later I have my own mini, #9369. Pretty beat-up and victim to several crude repair attempts, but I am slowly bringing it back to life. My mini will be played for mr. Moog himself next week in Stockholm... :) Remember; "knobs that don't get

How many years it was in production?(I'm speaking strictly about musonics 5 and NOT about the Moog music sonic six-I know that it was released about 1974). Also I want to ask you to put in the site info about the ''los

Comments:What a great flashback site. Back in 1984, a friend of mine (Joe) and I drove from Pgh, PA to the factory for a tour given by Bob Hackett. Back then Moog only made synth stuff one day a week. Bob promised us an hour of his time and that hour turned into almost 4 hours! What a day well spent! We even saw the SL-8 prototype and Memorymoogs being built. (We should have taken our camera.) Fortunately this amazing place lives on electronically.
